"Lotus Hair & Nail Salon"

As a surprise, my husband took me to “Lotus Hair & Nail Salon” on Grady Way in Renton. They had an advertised a special of $25 for a mani / pedi. I walked in and waited about 30 minutes (not bad for a sunny Saturday afternoon).
Lynn, the young lady that worked on my fingers and toes is wonderful (and she was wearing the cutest shoes), she is careful and considerate which is not always common in busy nail salons. After the pedicure, we moved to the manicure table. Personally I dislike the practice of getting a manicure while seated in the pedicure chair. Having to hold the bowl of water and making the technician stand at an awkward angle is just not relaxing.
Of course, I got to wear the salon flip-flops as I came in wearing closed toe shoes. The interesting part is the flip-flops and toe separators came together in a sealed packet, nice touch).
Ladies, give Lotus a try. Bring a book and be ready to wait. Ask for Lynn and be prepared to have your toes pampered and your forearms massaged. They will be seeing me again.
